Schizophrenic Evening

Friday night started off sedately enough. Bich Thu invited us over for a little dinner party. We all shared some home-cooked dishes comprised mostly of CSA vegetables like turnips, swiss chard, lettuce greens, radishes. There was fish too. We chatted and petted the cat and enjoyed some wine. We generally acted our age.



Then BAM! RAGING IMPROMPTU DANCE PARTY!! Ridiculous and ridiculously fun.

Midtown potluck feast

Cara had the gang over for a potluck dinner at her house last night. It felt opulent in a way, something about being seated around a proper dining table (with placemats and a tablecloth!) that fits so many people—very civilized!
